Bellows globe valve is a common type of valve. The following points should be noted during use: Confirm the valve status before operation. Never operate under pressure, as this may cause leaks and malfunctions. Carefully observe the condition of the pipeline. Properly position the valve so that it is perpendicular to the pipeline, and ensure there is enough space around the pipeline for installation and maintenance.

Bellows globe valve is a common type of valve. When using it, the following points should be noted: confirm the valve's status before operation. Never operate under pressure, as this may cause leaks and malfunctions. Carefully observe the pipeline condition. Properly position the valve so that it is perpendicular to the pipeline, and ensure there is enough space around the pipeline for installation and maintenance.

Do not hang the valve on the pipeline to avoid deformation and defects. Strictly follow the user manual and technical specifications to ensure effective use.

Pay attention to the valve's operating environment. Especially for valves used with hazardous liquids such as chemicals, petroleum, and natural gas, corrosion resistance must be carefully considered.

Regularly clean and maintain the valve. After use, clean it to prevent damage caused by excessive use.

Bellows globe valves are currently common in the market and are very convenient to install and use. I have used them before, and they have the following two significant advantages:

Bellows globe valves are compact in size. During use, they can save a lot of space, making work more convenient.

When connected in parallel with pipelines, installation accessories can be used for connection, and the required installation time is much shorter than that of traditional valves.

However, attention to operational details is still necessary during use, such as not operating under pressure and not using on pipelines that cannot bear weight. Only with correct operation can its advantages be fully realized. In addition, valve maintenance, timely cleaning, and upkeep are also important. By doing so, the bellows globe valve can maintain good condition and consistently uphold excellent valve quality.

The bellows globe valve is a common piping device in cooling systems, mainly used to control the flow of medium in the pipeline and prevent backflow. The main components of the bellows globe valve are the gate plate, bellows, and piston, with the following principles.

  1. Function and characteristics of the bellows

The bellows is the core part of the bellows globe valve. Its interior is designed with corrugations, allowing it to deform under medium pressure and act as a buffer during closing. This structure also gives the bellows strong vibration absorption and high-temperature resistance.

  2. Function and classification of the gate plate

The gate plate is the control component for medium flow in the bellows globe valve, responsible for closing or opening the flow path. Depending on the material, gate plates are classified into cast iron, carbon steel, stainless steel, and other types, each with its applicable fields and pros and cons.

  3. Function and types of the piston

The piston is a key sealing component in the bellows globe valve. Its main function is to withstand medium pressure and work with the gate plate to complete opening and closing actions. Depending on the material, pistons are classified as plastic pistons, rubber pistons, metal pistons, etc.

  4. Closing methods of the gate plate and bellows

The closing methods of the gate plate and bellows include manual, electric, hydraulic, and pneumatic types. Manual operation is suitable for small bellows globe valves, while electric, hydraulic, and pneumatic methods are suitable for large bellows globe valves.

  5. Application fields of bellows globe valves

Bellows globe valves are widely used in chemical, metallurgical, electric power, refining, and other fields. Their main functions are to control the flow of medium in pipelines, reduce water hammer effects, and prevent backflow.

The principle of the bellows globe valve lies in controlling the medium flow and preventing backflow through the structure and cooperation of the gate plate and bellows. The key component, the piston, serves a sealing function. Different gate plate materials, types of bellows and pistons, and closing methods allow bellows globe valves to be widely applied in various fields.
