　　1. Instrument valves must be packed in wooden boxes before shipment to prevent violent handling during transportation. Many products arrive at customers with ugly appearances, and some even have internal and external damage. For example, in northern regions, instrument valves deformation, valve stem bending or cracking, handwheel breakage, etc. Using a forklift to load them into wooden boxes is much gentler. Even if the small wooden box is violently unloaded, the wooden box provides protection.

　　2. After the instrument valve arrives at the construction site, if it is not installed promptly, it should be stored in a warehouse. During storage, oxidation will occur over a long period, and time will pass. Earth's gravity can also cause some deformation.

　　There are specific methods for storing instrument valves: 1. instrument valves They need to be placed in a ventilated and dry warehouse, not in damp places. If they must be placed in damp places, moisture-proof measures must be taken. 2. Valve placement is also delicate. For example, gate valve handwheels should be prevented from facing upward. If the gate valve is kept standing sideways for a long time, gravity's impact on the gate will affect the seal. Floating ball valves can be placed vertically or horizontally, while fixed ball valves are better placed vertically (handwheel or handle facing up). Globe valves should also be placed vertically, butterfly valves horizontally. There are many types of check valves, and different structural forms have different storage methods. For swing check valves, the valve plate should be sealed with foam or tied with wire to prevent frequent friction on the sealing surface. It can be stored vertically or horizontally. Lift check valves should be stored vertically, butterfly check valves stored sideways with the spring facing up. Other instrument valves also require certain attention. In short, if the valve plate and valve stem are subjected to heavy gravity or may deform due to gravity, attention must be paid to how they are placed.

　　3. Instrument valves should be installed strictly according to the requirements of operating temperature, pressure, medium, etc. They must not be installed outside their horizontal plane. After operation, bolts should be frequently checked for looseness and dealt with promptly if found.

　　4. Generally, slightly larger multi-turn valves have an oil nozzle on the bracket. During operation, the oil nozzle of the instrument valve should be oiled and allowed to lubricate.

　　5. One or more filters need to be installed at the front end of the instrument valve to prevent hard particles and impurities from wearing the sealing surface, thereby shortening the service life.

　　6. If the instrument valve is not frequently switched, it should be operated periodically to prevent the valve stem from expanding and jamming due to long inactivity.

　　7. If the instrument valve is frequently switched, sealing materials that are better and more wear-resistant should be selected before ordering, and additional filters should be added.
