Fluorine-lined valves, also known as plastic-lined corrosion-resistant valves, use polytetrafluoroethylene resin formed by stamping (or insert molding) to line the inner wall of the pressure-bearing parts of the valve or the outer surface of the internal valve components. The same method applies to the lining of various pressure vessels and piping accessories. Simply put, fluorine-lined valves use lining technology wherever the medium inside the valve body reaches. Now, let's learn about the classification and selection of fluorine-lined valves!

Let's learn more below. Lined Fluorine Valves Classification and Selection!
Lined Fluorine Valves The lining material generally uses fluoroplastics such as FEP (F46) or PCTFE (F3), suitable for pipelines carrying sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, hydrofluoric acid, aqua regia, various organic acids, strong acids, and other corrosive media. However, lined fluorine valves have significant temperature limitations and are only suitable for media between -50°C and 150°C.
1. Lined Fluorine Back Pressure Valve
Fluorine back pressure valves are only flange type, with all media flow areas lined with ECTFE material. Resistant to acids and alkalis.
2. Fluorine-Lined Shock Absorber
The diaphragm-type damper's upper shell does not contact the medium and generally does not require lining; the diaphragm surface in contact with the medium is fluorinated, and the lower shell and flange are lined.
3. Lined Fluorine Ball Valve
Ball valves lined with fluororesin have high chemical stability and are suitable for any strongly corrosive chemical media. The structure is a full bore floating ball valve, providing original leak sealing across the entire pressure range, facilitating pipeline cleaning and maintenance.
4. Fluorine Butterfly Valve
Used in applications requiring reliable sealing and good regulation characteristics. The fluorine butterfly valve body is split-type, with the sealing at the valve stem end controlled by the rotating base surface between the butterfly valve and the valve seat plus fluorine rubber. The product has a compact structure, attractive appearance, reasonable process, and reliable performance. The lined fluorine butterfly valve prevents the valve stem from contacting the fluid medium inside the chamber, making stem replacement very convenient. The lined fluorine butterfly valve can be serviced without removing the pipeline.
5. Fluorine-Containing Gate Valve
One of the common on/off valves, with wedge-shaped gate sealing on both sides, used to connect or cut off the medium in the pipeline. Wedge gate valves are not allowed to be slightly open as throttling devices in pipelines to avoid erosion and accelerated damage to the sealing surface caused by high-speed flowing media.
6. Lined Fluorine Plug Valve
Compact and reasonable structure, small internal cavity space, reduced medium retention, and special molding process with good sealing surface density. Combined with herringbone PTFE packing, the valve achieves zero leakage. This series is designed for automatic on/off control of pipelines carrying highly corrosive media.
7. Lined Fluorine Globe Valve
The valve opens or closes smoothly by lifting the valve disc. Both the valve and the inner side of the valve body are made with fluorocarbon lining technology, featuring light operation, small size, reliable sealing, simple structure, easy maintenance, and wide application range.
8. Fluorine Check Valve
Fluorine check valves only allow medium flow in one direction and prevent flow in the opposite direction. Typically, the valve automatically opens under the pressure of unidirectional flow, and when the liquid flows in the opposite direction, the liquid pressure and the valve's own weight act on the heavier valve to cut off the flow. Fluorine check valves include lift check valves, swing check valves, and dual-plate check valves. Lined Fluorine Valves Suitable for -50 to 150°C various concentrations of aqua regia, sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, hydrofluoric acid, various organic acids, strong acids, strong oxidizers. FEP is also suitable for various concentrations of strong alkalis, organic solvents, and other corrosive gases and liquid media in pipelines.
