Lined valves, also known as plastic-lined corrosion-resistant valves, are formed by stamping (or embedding) polytetrafluoroethylene resin on the inner wall of the pressure-bearing part of the valve or the outer surface inside the valve. The same method applies to the lining of various pressure vessels and pipeline accessories. In short, lined valves use lining technology inside the valve body for the medium.
In short, lined fluorine valves use lining technology inside the valve body for the medium.
Fluoroplastics such as FEP (F46) or PCTFE (F3) are generally used as the lining materials for valves. They can be applied to pipelines carrying sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, hydrofluoric acid, aqua regia, various organic acids, strong acids, and other corrosive media. However, the valves are lined.
Fluorine-lined valves Classification of corrosion-resistant and special-purpose valves: Common lined fluoroplastic valves include lined fluorine back pressure valves, lined fluorine diaphragm dampers, lined fluorine butterfly valves, lined fluorine ball valves, and lined fluorine back pressure valves.
1. Lined fluorine back pressure valve
Fluorine back pressure valves are only flange type, with all flowing media lined with ECTFE. They are acid and alkali resistant.
2. Fluorine-lined dampers
The upper shell of the diaphragm damper does not contact the medium and generally does not require lining.
3. Fluorine-lined ball valve
Fluorine-lined resin ball valves have high chemical stability and are suitable for any highly corrosive chemical media. The structure is a full bore floating ball valve design, which seals original leaks across the full pressure range, facilitating pigging and pipeline maintenance.
4. Fluorine butterfly valve
Used when reliable sealing and good regulation characteristics are required. The fluorine butterfly valve body mainly adopts a split design. The valve stem end sealing system uses fluorine rubber controlled by the rotating base surface between the butterfly valve and the valve seat. The product has a compact structural design, beautiful appearance, reasonable process, and stable and reliable performance. The lined fluorine butterfly valve prevents direct contact between the valve stem and the fluid inside the cavity, making stem replacement very simple and convenient. The lined fluorine butterfly valve can be completed without removing the piping.
5. Fluorine gate valve
One of the common shut-off valves, the sealing wedge gate opens or closes the medium. The wedge gate valve used as a throttling device in pipelines should not be slightly opened to avoid erosion from high-speed flowing media, which accelerates damage to the sealing surface.
6. Lined fluorine plug valve
This invention has a compact and reasonable structure, with a very small valve body cavity space to reduce medium retention. It uses a special molding process, has good sealing surface density, zero leakage, and is suitable for automatic open and close control of pipelines with various corrosive media.
Fluorine check valves only allow medium flow in one direction to prevent backflow. Usually, fluorine check valves operate automatically; the pressure of one-way flow opens the valve, and the reverse flow pressure combined with the valve weight closes it. Fluorine check valves include lift check valves, rotary check valves, and dual-plate check valves. H41F46. Fluorine-lined valves Suitable for -50 to 150 degrees Celsius with different concentrations of aqua regia, sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, hydrofluoric acid, various organic acids, strong acids, strong oxidizers, and also suitable for pipelines carrying various concentrations of strong alkaline organic solvents and other corrosive gases and liquids.
