Bellows globe valve, also known as bellows sealed globe valve, forms a metal barrier between the fluid medium and the atmosphere through automatic roller welding, ensuring a zero-leakage design of the valve. How is the venting performance of the bellows globe valve?

Bellows Globe Valve Also known as bellows-sealed globe valve, it forms a metal barrier between the fluid medium and the atmosphere through automatic roller welding, ensuring a zero-leakage valve design.

Bellows Globe Valve What is its drainage performance like?

Bellows Globe Valve When using bellows globe valves or electric globe valves in horizontal pipelines, it is a new type of globe valve category with structural advantages such as frictionless switching, seal wear resistance, and opening/closing torque. This reduces the specifications required for the assigned actuator.

Bellows Globe Valve Equipped with multi-turn electric actuators, it can regulate the medium and achieve tight shut-off. Widely used in petroleum, chemical, and urban water supply and drainage systems under strict obstructed working conditions. It should be ensured that the bellows globe valve is installed on the horizontal pipeline at the angle specified by the bellows globe valve manufacturer. Otherwise, during the operation of process equipment, diaphragm valve drainage may have issues, and the medium inside the valve body cannot be completely discharged.

However, the installation inclination angles differ among diaphragm valve types, bellows globe valves produced by different manufacturers, and diaphragm valves with different nominal flow rates, often causing significant problems in the design and manufacture of sterile process equipment. This drainage issue is more prominent in bellows globe valves with T-shaped structures.

Compared to bellows globe valves, bellows valves do not have this problem. Regardless of the body structure type of the Vesta bellows globe valve, no "dead corners" occur during no-load operation of process equipment, thus enabling firm pipeline shut-off. Additionally, multiple installation methods can be used in the pipeline systems of sterile process equipment.

In pharmaceutical manufacturing, sterile process equipment consists of many horizontal and vertical pipelines. Due to pipeline positioning and technical reasons in pharmaceutical equipment design, this type of bellows globe valve needs to be installed at specific locations. For example, if a bellows globe valve is installed on a vertical pipeline, a 90-degree elbow with the same inner diameter is required on the same horizontal plane. The production cost of T-shaped diaphragm valves is high, and compared to other diaphragm valves, their valve structure is more favorable in volume and shape for pipeline connection and installation. Due to the different structural types of the two types of globe valves, the choice of which type to use at various parts should be made during the early design phase of sterile process equipment.

Many valves in export equipment for the pharmaceutical, food, and biotechnology fields require sterilization. Large valves are almost useless when sterilization is needed. Because in these process equipment, the quality of the medium to be transported is decreasing, and with low flow rates, diaphragm valves are almost invariably chosen. The new type of bellows valve is compact, can be used with pipeline diameters, and has advantages over diaphragm valves.
